Bringing together board chairs, corporate directors and senior executives to address the critical issues facing boards today. Directors Academy is a one and a half day Director focused educational program for board ready individuals or those serving on their first public or private board.
Program Times: Day 1 - 1pm - 5pm (Networking lunch provided at 12) Day 2 - 9am - 5pm (Reception and Presentation of Certificate in Corporate Governance Immediately following)
Leading Practices for the Boardroom
This program will cover current trends in financial data and fiduciary duties and audit, compensation, nominating and governance committees. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of the role of the board in key issues and will experience the type of decisions that they may be required to make as a member of the board. This highly interactive program is taught by leading executives, corporate directors, policy makers, legal and financial service experts and academic professionals.

Who Should Attend?
Directors Academy offers board education seminars for board ready individuals or those serving on their first public or private board. This program affords participants an educational framework through timely insights from leading executives, corporate directors, policy makers, legal and financial services experts, and academic professionals. This program is limited to 25 participants.
