 8\nacres\, FDR Park is the largest green space in South Philadelphia\, a\n
 beloved gathering place for picnics\, play and relaxation. By\nparticipati
 ng\, you’ll play a direct role in keeping this historic\npark clean\, gr
 een and welcoming for the thousands of people who visit\neach year.\n\nGet
  involved by picking up trash or gardening to help enhance the\npark’s n
 atural beauty. Your efforts will support FDR Park’s\nlong-term revitaliz
 ation\, ensuring it remains a safe\, accessible and\nthriving space for th
 e community. All supplies provided—just bring\nyour Dragon spirit! Famil
 ies and friends are welcome.\n\nAfter the service project\, stick around t
 o enjoy everything FDR Park\nhas to offer\, including free fishing gear re
 ntals\, bird-watching\nscopes\, tennis and pickleball courts\, a soccer fi
 eld and two updated\nplaygrounds for kids (there’s almost always an ice 
 cream truck\nnearby). You can also explore the American Swedish Historical
