Online Programs Push for More Interaction

Appeared on June 30, 2010

Dean George P. Tsetsekos, Ph.D. contributed to this article on online degree programs that discussed how schools have increased their engagement efforts with students to keep them from dropping out.

He was quoted as saying, "Students are turned off if they recognize that the online content is delivered like you're just reading from a [text]book," says George Tsetsekos, dean of Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, which offers two online M.B.A. programs. "Attrition is attributed to the quality of the content."
