Executive DBA Admissions

The Drexel LeBow Executive DBA is a 2.5-year (10 consecutive quarters) part-time doctoral program designed expressly for high-performing executives and senior-level leaders. Through an integrative framework of empirical exploration and evidence-based decision-making, executives develop successful data-driven strategies and solutions that can be applied to their respective organizations or fields.

Executive DBA Applicant Profile and Eligibility

In addition to a master’s degree and 10+ years of senior industry and/or leadership experience, applicants to the highly selective part-time Executive DBA program should possess exceptional skills and motivation.

• Applicants should hold an undergraduate and graduate degree from an accredited institution.
• An undergraduate or graduate focus on business is not a requirement.
• Applicants should have attained a minimum grade point average of 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) for all graduate course work completed.
• Work experience is considered an indicator of preparedness for the program in addition to undergraduate and post undergraduate academic studies.

Please Note: The Executive DBA Program is part-time and not eligible for an F-1 student visa sponsorship. However, we welcome applicants who already have appropriate visas or existing status in the United States that may allow them to study in part-time programs.

Application Materials Checklist

You will need to provide the following in the “Program Materials” section of BusinessCAS to complete your DBA application:

• A current résumé or curricula vitae in PDF format
• All undergraduate and graduate college transcripts (official transcripts will be required if your are admitted)
• An essay and personal statement in PDF or Word Document format. (The online application will provide direction.)
• You will be asked to request a minimum of two letters of recommendation from a supervisor or colleague during the BusinessCAS application process

Note: GMAT or GRE are not required for admission to the DBA program. However, individuals who have taken these exams prior may forward their scores in support of their application.

How to Apply in BusinessCAS

1. Create your BusinessCAS account.*
2. On the “Add Program” tab, use the plus sign (+) to select “DBA, Executive - Executive Doctorate in Business Administration” as your program.
3. Visit the “My Application” dashboard and complete the application’s four core sections: Personal Information, Academic History, Supporting Information and Program Materials.
4. Use the “Submit Application” tab to submit your completed DBA application by the program deadline. Please note, an application fee of $78 U.S. is required to apply.
