STEM-designated Program

The MS in Economics and Data Science is a STEM-designated degree program. Students with an F-1 visa can apply for a 24-month OPT extension if they meet noted criteria.

Choose from electives in several disciplines, such as business analytics, strategic financial management and machine learning for data science, which can be used toward a certificate in either data science or business. Courses are also available from Drexel’s Center for Public Policy, and students wishing to prepare for PhD programs may take courses in the Department of Mathematics.
