LeBowX provides a platform for four LeBow students and/or alumni to present 10-minute, TED Talk-inspired presentations focused on diversity, equity and inclusion.

This event is hybrid, meaning you can either join us in-person or virtually. *In-person attendees: The event will be held in Gerri C. LeBow Hall, Room 031 *Virtual attendees: You will be provided the Zoom link in your confirmation email upon registration.

Meet our speakers:

MF

Margo Friedheim is a first-year student at the LeBow College of Business. Margo’s topic is navigating the fear of failure in life and college.

AM

Amir McCormick is a Finance and Technology Innovation Management graduate from Drexel University. He is a member of the Drexel LeBow BRIDGE Program. Personally, he is a serial entrepreneur and investor, currently running a high end trading business for over 10 years and is a passionate basketball fan. Amir will begin his career in Finance at Microsoft this fall.

Sam

Sam Vaughan is a junior at the LeBow College of Business studying Business and Engineering. He is the president of Drexel's men club basketball team and manages four Powelton Village apartment lawns through his family business - Vaughan Lawn. Sam's topic is the power of meeting strangers.

JR

Jeanette is an Academic Advisor at the LeBow College of Business. She currently lives in Philadelphia, PA but is from the Golden Coast of California. Jeanette's topic is about intersectionality, identity, and equity.
