Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning

The LeBow Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) launched Oct. 1, 2021, in support of excellence in teaching, quality and innovation at LeBow. CITL provides value to faculty, staff and students through a support network that motivates, rewards and recognizes excellence in teaching and learning and drives innovation in LeBow programs, curriculum and courses.

Initiatives

Teaching Fellows

CITL Teaching Fellowships are awarded to tenured or clinical faculty members at the associate level or higher who have demonstrated excellence in teaching. Fellows serve one-year terms and assist the director with developing events to promote excellence in teaching.

We would like to congratulate 2023-2024 Teaching Fellows Daniel Albert, PhD, Anna Devlin, Phd, and Chris Laincz, PhD, who will work to explore, design, pilot, and share different strategies and approaches to integrate generative AI and technology and to innovate courses and curricula at LeBow.

LeBow Instructional Technology Resources

The LeBow Instructional Technology (InTech) team is available to help faculty with their courses. In addition to Blackboard support, questions and issues, the InTech team can help faculty improve course organization and design. InTech’s assistance is also available to help ensure courses meet the Baseline Course Expectations.

According to Director of LeBow Instructional Technology Alan Hecht, InTech’s mission is to “support faculty in developing meaningful and engaging learning experiences for online, hybrid and face-to-face courses and provide guidance and support in the use of instructional technologies.”

Reach out to InTech with questions or to schedule an appointment at lebowintech@drexel.edu.
