Bridging business and IT to drive change.
Both business and IT professionals understand that technological advancements can facilitate organizational growth. However, because the two units often work in silos, they rarely align — meaning IT advancements sometimes miss the mark on an organization’s needs and hinder success. In fact, according to recent studies, as many as 85 percent of all U.S. IT projects are considered failures. The STEM-designated Master of Science in Business Information Technology, offered jointly by Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and College of Computing & Informatics (CCI), develops leaders who possess both the business acumen and technology skills needed to connect the divide between the two units and drive meaningful change.
Propelled by Drexel’s over 100-year history of industry-based education, the program incorporates experiential learning opportunities to expand students’ professional networks and build their foundational knowledge through real-world applications.
The certificates comprising the MS in Business Information Technology can be taken individually or applied toward the full master’s degree.
