The STEM-designated Master of Science in Economics in Drexel University’s School of Economics connects core principles to rigorous quantitative methods and policy analysis, providing students with the skills to critically examine markets and economies to drive business solutions. The flexible program provides students with opportunities to take electives and choose from one of our three diverse tracks, including our public policy track for those who wish to pursue careers in government or nonprofits; our industry track for those who seek roles in private industry; and our academic research track for those who look to enter doctoral programs in business, public policy, public health, economics or other social sciences.

Propelled by Drexel’s over 100-year history of partnering with industry leaders, the degree program takes an applied approach through experiential learning opportunities. This approach expands students’ professional networks and builds their foundational knowledge through real-world applications, equipping them with the tools to identify long-term market trends and shape the future.
