Dragon Alumni Entrepreneurs Tell All

November 14, 2012

On Tuesday November 13, the Drexel Entrepreneur Association held its second annual Dragon Alumni Entrepreneurs event featuring three Drexel alumni: Ilya Braude ’05, Chris Cera ’04, and Matt Schaffer ’04, who are all heavily involved in the entrepreneurial culture of Philadelphia and vastly experienced in business ownership.

The three entrepreneurs discussed their successes, biggest challenges, the idea of work/life integration, and the importance of networking and developing relationships with the right people. All three are highly versed in the technical, programming, and engineering sides of ventures and emphasized the value of having the right mix of business-minded executive partners to cover all skill gaps within their organizations. The panel ended with some insightful discussions on emerging trends to expect in the near future, which included the expansion of mobile and cloud solutions in both corporate organizations and throughout academia.
