Finance Professionals, Undergrads Network at LeBow Event in New York
The LeBow College of Business Office of Undergraduate Career Services presented its fifth annual New York Alumni Networking event last month.
Forty New York-area alumni attended the event, networking with 20 carefully selected finance undergrad students. Due to the success of past events, the selection process has become highly competitive. The finalists were selected based upon outstanding GPAs, professional work experiences through the co-operative education program (co-op), and demonstrated leadership capacity. Prior to the event, students participated in the closing bell ceremony at NASDAQ, with the LeBow logo prominently displayed on the MarketSite Tower.
Dean George Tsetsekos, Ph.D, and Michael Gombola, Ph.D, professor and department head of finance, were also in attendance. They encouraged alumni to continue to build the LeBow Network by reaching back to undergraduate students regarding available opportunities within their firms.
The event was made possible by the generous support of corporate sponsor Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and alumni Maria Mascioli, Robert Delany, Randall Burkert, Jeff Macaluso, Sean Gallagher and Greg Gaffney.
