LeBow Graduate Students Turn Data into Insights with Bloomberg
For students interested in business analytics, an opportunity to showcase their “superpower” of using data to drive decision-making for a media giant was too good of a chance to pass up.
Drexel LeBow’s annual datathon for graduate students, organized by the Center for Applied AI and Business Analytics tasks teams with leveraging data to derive insights for an organization’s business challenge.
In a partnership with Bloomberg, students had the opportunity to receive guidance and feedback from the company’s data analytics experts, who served as judges during the competition.
The winning team – comprised of Ishika Jaiswal, MBA ’25; Aayushi Marathe, MS business analytics ’25; Anvi Kothari, MS business analytics ’25; Mirudula Muralidhar, MS business analytics ’25; Muskan Bagde, MS business analytics ’25; and Shriya Rawal, MS data science ‘26 – visited Bloomberg’s Princeton offices to meet with its leaders in business and technology.
“The experience offered a deeper understanding of Bloomberg’s cutting-edge technology, data infrastructure and the impact of analytics on financial markets and business strategy,” Jaiswal said. “Engaging with industry professionals and seeing their work in action reinforced the importance of data-driven decision-making in today’s fast-paced business environment.”
