PhD Program Alumna Virginia Miori Promoted

November 11, 2013

Virginia Miori, a 2006 graduate of LeBow’s PhD program in Business in Decision Sciences, has been promoted to Associate Professor in the Decision and System Sciences Department at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Miori is also the editor-in-chief for the International Journal for Business Intelligence Research.

Of her time at LeBow, Miori says, “The program exceeded my expectations and my previous graduate school experience. After having completed an MS at an Ivy League school, I found the program at Drexel to be of higher quality. The faculty in my department (especially my advisor and committee) were generous with their time and energy. They supported my goals from the moment I entered the program, and I was able to complete my doctoral studies in three years. The course work was challenging and relevant and the teaching was very strong.”
