With Office 365, all Drexel faculty, staff and students receive a free Skype for Business account which can be used at will for online meetings. Additionally, all Skype accounts come with a free conference telephone line which can be used to call in if a participant is unable to connect via computer/phone app.
To create a Skype Meeting, you must have Skype for Business installed on your computer.
Windows 10 Users
- Launch Outlook.
- Browse to your calendar.
- From the Home ribbon, select New Skype Meeting.
- Complete the appointment form being sure to invite any desired participants.
- Select Send.
macOS Users
- Launch Outlook.
- Browse to your calendar.
- From the Home ribbon, select Meeting.
- In the Organizer Meeting ribbon, select Skype Meeting.
- Complete the appointment form being sure to invite any desired participants.
- Select Send.
Office 365 Online
- Browse to http://portal.office.com.
- Sign on using your Drexel credentials.
- Select the Outlook tile.
- Browse to your calendar.
- From the top toolbar, select +New.
- From the new top toolbar, select Add Skype meeting.
- Complete the appointment form being sure to invite any desired participants.
- From the top toolbar, select Save.
