Editing a Zoom Cloud Recording
Zoom provides a limited editing option for trimming time off the start and/or end of a cloud recorded meeting to help provide a more compact viewing experience.
- Browse to https://drexel.zoom.us.
- Select Sign In Standard and sign in using your Drexel credentials.
- Select Recordings from the menu on the left.
- Select the appropriate recording.
- Select the video play icon (film strip with a triangle in a circle).
- Pause video playback and select the scissor icon from the bottom right.
- Use the sliders to set the start and end time for the video.
- Close the video tab.
Restricting Access to Zoom Cloud Recordings
Zoom provides a number of options to restrict viewing access to cloud recordings.
- Browse to https://drexel.zoom.us.
- Select Sign In Standard and sign in using your Drexel credentials.
- Select Recordings from the menu on the left.
- Select the appropriate recording.
- Select Share in the top right corner of the recording page.
- Set the options that best fit your needs:

Share this recording
- Publicly - anyone with the link can view the recording.
- Only authenticated users can view - only Drexel users are able to view the recording. Anyone attempting to view the recording will be prompted to sign in through Drexel Connect.
- Viewers can download - determines if viewers can download (blue) a copy of the recording or not (gray).
- On-demand(Registration Required) - viewers must provide a name and email address before they can view the recording.
- Password protect - viewers must enter a password you set before viewing the video.
- NOTE: if you change the Share this recording option, you must select Save to apply it to the video. All other settings are set as soon as they are enabled.
