By default, Microsoft Outlook will only display emails going back 1 year from the current day. Follow the directions below to expand the time period for which emails are displayed:
- Launch Outlook.
- Select the File menu.
- From the Account Settings menu, select Account Settings.
- Highlight your account and select Change.
- Adjust the slider to the desired number of years for which email should be shown.
- Select Next.
- Select Done.
- Select Close.
Once the change has been made, Outlook will need some time to synchronize your email for the desired number of years. This process can take a significant amount of time depending on the quantity of emails saved for the time period specified. After synchronization is complete, your email will be available for viewing within Outlook.
NOTE: Expanding the email display time period may result in slower performance from Microsoft Outlook.
