Amina Shahzad, MBA, is a Market Supply Planner for Bristol-Myers Squibb. She serves as a single point of contact for management of finished goods supply for the US and PR markets. She will describe the tools and processes she utilizes in order to:
- Integrate & coordinate supply strategies between the US/PR markets and internal/external supply sites
- Create & execute finished goods supply plans for the US/PR markets and continually manage and operationally maintain orders as required to comply with agreed inventory SLA levels and lead times
- Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply and support continuous improvement processes
- Continually monitor and assess the MRP planning process in the BMS ERP system to ensure demand propagation process runs effectively
- Support & lead as required by government tender supply, direct import programs and clinical supply requests in alignment with local market partners and demand planners
- Ensure master data is maintained
- Evaluate, mitigate and communicate any inventory or supply risks that impact market (via stock overviews, heat maps, obsolescence, artwork changes, etc)
- Ensure key supply chain performance metrics for US/PR markets are achieved, providing analysis and commentary (Backorders, Anticipated Backorders, PO Compliance, Potential Write Off)
