Alison Carroll graduated from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business with a BS in marketing in 2010. From Philadelphia, she went on to be the marketing director for the California Olive Oil Council in Berkeley, Calif., overseeing the only professional olive oil panel in North America.
In 2014, she launched Wonder Valley with one product: California extra virgin olive oil. Delicious, timeless and potent with health benefits, this oil is used both for your kitchen and as the key ingredient in a growing line of skin and haircare. At year ten, Carroll is still maintaining total ownership and is 100% self-funded through hard work, scrappiness, strong intuition and following a different playbook than most of her peers.
