Denise Tankle

Denise Tankle is a 2015 graduate of Drexel University’s College of Engineering, where she earned a BS in construction management with a minor in architecture. During her time at Drexel, she participated in the varsity swim team and was a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). In 2022, Tankle completed her MBA from Drexel’s Lebow College of Business with a focus in real estate.

Tankle started her career with Turner Construction in 2012. During her seven-year tenure, she held positions as a cost analyst, superintendent and project engineer. She was a Chamber of Commerce for Young Professionals member from 2018-2019.

In 2019, Tankle joined Wawa, Inc. as a construction project manager for the remodel construction team, directing all aspects of the construction process from inception to turnover back to operations. Recently, she expanded her role to the innovative side of Wawa, Inc., managing a team that focuses on the constructability, strategy and execution of company-wide program rollouts.

Tankle joined the advisory board for the Wilbur C. Henderson Real Estate Institute at the LeBow College of Business in 2024.
