Stephen is a seasoned biotech leader with two decades of hands-on experience driving impactful advancements across all stages of new product development, from inception to market launch. As Head of Corporate Strategy at Spark Therapeutics, a pioneering gene therapy firm in Philadelphia, Stephen drives innovative strategies to propel the company’s success. Previously, he spearheaded cell and gene therapy initiatives at CHOP and advised top-tier life science organizations as a consultant at L.E.K. His multifaceted background also includes pivotal roles in technology, innovation, R&D, and manufacturing at Stryker Orthobiologics and Integra LifeSciences.
Stephen holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, a PhD in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
