Celebrate 100 Years of Business and Engineering!

Join fellow alumni and current and former faculty members to commemorate a century of achievement as we mark the 100th anniversary of the Business and Engineering program at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business with a special celebration during Alumni Weekend.

Featured Speaker:

  • William R. Schutt ’67, founder, former owner and chairman of MATCOR, Inc. and inaugural recipient of the Business and Engineering Alumni Career Achievement Award

Launched in 1924 as Commercial Engineering at the Drexel Institute of Technology, the program evolved to Commerce and Engineering before moving to the current name in 2007. Throughout its history, the program has delivered its distinctive blend of curriculum of business education and engineering expertise with its alumni spanning the globe and leading in their fields.

Reconnect with classmates, mentors and friends as we recognize the inaugural recipients of the department’s Early Career and Alumni Career Achievement awards, reflect on the past 100 years and look ahead at the program’s future. Then, come together over a celebratory lunch with beer, wine and soft drinks in the I. M. Pei-designed Bossone Research Enterprise Center lobby.
