Connexus Technology Wins Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Connexus Technology, a company being cultivated in the Baiada Center's incubator, has been selected as the recipient of the 2007 Eastern Pennsylvania SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Selections were made by a panel of 23 judges representing lending institutions, small business owners, and economic development organizations. In November of 2006, Connexus was also selected as the winner of the Citizens Bank Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Connexus will be honored at the Annual Small Business Week Awards Ceremony in June. The celebration will be held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and is being sponsored by the Advocates for Small Business (ASB). The ASB is a non-profit organization that promotes and recognizes the contributions of small businesses and advocates in the community, economy and the region. They also assist the SBA in its efforts to promote Small Business Week. The company was founded Drexel alumni Lawrence A. James, president and CEO, and Christopher Holland chief operating officer.
The awards ceremony will be followed by the Philadelphia Phillies versus the Chicago White Sox game.
