Doctoral Students Present Papers
Several of our doctoral students will be appearing at upcoming accounting conferences and have had papers published. Congratulations to all!
KwangJoo Koo Ph.D. ’11, currently an assistant professor at William Patterson University, is presenting at a session of the Contemporary Accounting Research Conference.
Robert Lee, Ph.D. ’11, an assistant professor of accounting at Pepperdine University, is presenting at a session of the American Accounting Association ATA annual meeting. Lee has also submitted a paper to CAR. Lee presented two papers at the Western American Accounting Association and two papers at the Annual American Accounting Association. The papers cover uncertain tax positions and board diversity.
Michael Paz, a Ph.D student in accounting and KPMG scholar, is a discussant of a paper at the AAA annual meeting and is a co-author on a paper accepted by Advances in Behavioral Accounting.
Beth Collier-Vermeer, a Ph.D. candidate in accounting, is presenting at a session of the Behavioral Tax Symposium and the CAR Conference and has an R&R paper at the Journal of the American Tax Association.
