Drexel LeBow’s Institute for Strategic Leadership Appoints Eight to Advisory Board
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Philadelphia - November 23, 2015 - The Institute for Strategic Leadership (ISL) at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business has announced the members of its inaugural advisory board. The eight-member board will guide ISL in its mission to inform, inspire and influence leaders who are transforming the world of business over the next three years.
“Having a board of this caliber as close advisers is critical to maintaining the Institute’s focus on real-world applicability of our programs and initiatives,” says Institute for Strategic Leadership Executive Director Alison Young. “Our faculty and students will benefit from the diversity of perspectives and experience this advisory board represents.”
The advisory board, made up of a diverse group of experienced business professionals, joins ISL-affiliated faculty members and the recently named Student Scholars for Responsible Leadership in supporting ISL’s goals and initiatives. Institute for Strategic Leadership Advisory Board:
Ken Barnes is president of KENBARNES Global Advisors LLC, a business development, marketing, and public affairs firm.
Renzo Cerabino is a vice president and wealth manager for BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
Kathleen P. Chimicles is president and CEO of GlenDevon Group, Inc.
Samuel H. Pond is a founding and managing partner of Pond Lehocky Stern Giordano, and the CEO of Disability Justice.
Ann Semmer is a senior level investment professional with more than 25 years of experience in the private and public equity markets.
Bill Shipp is vice president of business development at Wells Fargo Bank.
Jeff Westphal is president, CEO and co-owner of Vertex Inc.
Rhett Workman oversees American Airlines’ international and Philadelphia corporate real estate, facilities and government affairs matters.
