Faculty and Staff: Go Red With LeBow on Fridays in February
Drexel LeBow is encouraging faculty and staff to wear red on Fridays in February as part of the American Heart Association’s national campaign to promote heart health and awareness, particularly among women, for whom heart disease is the Number 1 killer.
Two College administrators, Kristin Risi, Ph.D., executive director of Corporate and Executive Education, and Patti Q. Connolly, director of the Center for Corporate Governance, serve on the Corporate Leadership Team for the GO RED campaign in Philadelphia.
Donations of $5 (or more) from those wearing red (or any other color) on Fridays will be accepted by Kris and Patti. Donations can be made via check or cash; email Kris at kmr26@drexel.edu and she will happily come by to collect your donation. Checks should be made payable to American Heart Association; please note “Go Red for Women – Drexel” on the memo line. All money collected during the LeBow “Go Red” campaign will be donated in memory of former Vice Dean Tom Hindelang.
Among the honorees at the 2012 “Go Red For Women” awards luncheon on May 18 will be Eliana Papadakis, M.Ed., Hon Ph.D.
