Harvard Economist Greg Mankiw Gives Public Lecture at LeBow

On April 13, Greg Mankiw, PhD, economics professor at Harvard University, delivered a public lecture on income inequality at Drexel LeBow. Mankiw is the author of popular economics textbooks and former Chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers under President George W. Bush.

Mankiw’s lecture, sponsored by Drexel LeBow’s School of Economics, touched on issues surrounding income inequality and explored factors in the current economic landscape such as the pace of technological innovation and disparity in educational attainment across the income spectrum.

The lecture was well attended by LeBow students and faculty and by groups from local schools including students from Upper Dublin High School.
