Keating Awarded LeBow Building Construction Contract

September 07, 2011

Keating Building Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation, has been awarded a $70 million contract to build the new LeBow College of Business Building.

The 12-story, 177,500 square foot building will housing classrooms, offices and student engagement spaces.  Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Voith & Mactavish Architects are designing the project.  Substantial completion is anticipated to occur in the first quarter of 2014.

The demolition of Matheson Hall is imminent. More than 130 faculty and staff have moved out of Matheson, and prep work for the demolition is well under way. A fence was placed around the perimeter of the building last week.
