LeBow Management Professor Films "Great Courses" Series

June 21, 2012

Stanley K. Ridgley, Ph.D., assistant clinical professor of management at Drexel LeBow, has filmed a lecture series on Strategic Thinking Skills, which debuted recently. The series is designed to help people think, and act, more strategically in business and in life, and is available through The Great Courses.

“Given the high-caliber business schools we have here in the Philadelphia region, I’m honored  to have been chosen as the first Great Courses professor in business education from the region,” Ridgley says. “The Great Courses team is professional, and their production values are phenomenal.”

Ridgley is a former Military Intelligence Officer with a Ph.D. in International Security who joined LeBow College's Management Department in the fall of 2011. He holds a Ph.D. from Duke University, an IMBA from Temple, and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina.

“There are hundreds of thousands of college professors and subject matter experts around the world, but only a very select few are chosen to be a part of The Great Courses’ faculty,” says Lucinda Robb, director of professor development for The Great Courses.  “Each year, our professional recruiters identify the top 1 percent of professors based on teaching awards, published evaluations, newspaper write-ups, and other sources.”
