LeBow Marketing Professor Commended for Publication
An article penned by Rolph E. Anderson, Ph.D., Royal H. Gibson, Senior Professor of marketing, and Paul Christ, Ph.D., professor of marketing at West Chester University, has received a Highly Commended Award from the Journal of Historical Research in Marketing.
Each year, a panel including JHRM's editor and four associate editors acknowledges three Highly Commended Awards and one Outstanding Paper Award as part of its annual Emerald Publishing Literati Awards.
The article, titled "The Impact of Technology on Evolving Roles of Salespeople," traces the history of adapting novel technology in business back to the industrial revolution in the mid-1800's. The article makes a connection between roles in today's sales force and their historical ties to technological innovations that occurred between the 1850's and 1980's.
Anderson and Christ will receive certificates of recognition this spring.
