Waquar Ahmad Awarded “Best Graduate Business Poster”

Waquar Ahmad, a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Finance at LeBow College of Business, was awarded the “Best Graduate Business Poster” at Drexel’s Research Day 2010, held April 15 on campus. The award-winning paper was titled “Director Alpha: An Objective Measure of Director Contribution.”
His paper was presented in collaboration with Adam Yore, Ph.D. ’09 and Jacqueline Garner, Ph.D., associate professor of finance at LeBow College.
Ahmad also received a monetary award for the honor.
