How to Install Microsoft Office 365

Fully-featured, the Microsoft Office 365 software package includes Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access.

Drexel-Owned Computers

Windows Users

  1. Open the Windows menu.
  2. Select Microsoft System Center.
  3. Launch Software Center.
  4. Select Applications from the menu on the left.
  5. Select the installer for Office 365 ProPlus.
  6. Select Install.

macOS Users

  1. Browse to Applications.
  2. Launch Self Service.
  3. Sign on using your Drexel credentials.
  4. Select Applications from the menu on the left.
  5. Locate the installer for Microsoft Office 2016 Pro Plus.
  6. Select Install.

Personal Computers

Virtual Computer Lab Access

Microsoft Office is available in the Drexel Virtual Computer Lab.

Local Installation

  1. Browse to http://microsoft365.com.
  2. Sign in using your Drexel credentials.
  3. From the Install and more menu on the top-right side of the page, select Install Microsoft 365 apps.
  4. Select Install Office to download the installer.
  5. Browse to the location where you downloaded the installer.
  6. Launch the installer.
  7. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the installation.
