The LeBow College of Business is thrilled to announce key leadership appointments within its esteemed Executive Education programs. David Becher, PhD, Dean’s Industry Fellow and professor of finance, has been appointed as the academic director for the Executive MBA (EMBA) and MBA at Vanguard programs. In addition, Lauren D’Innocenzo, PhD, Provost Solutions Fellow and associate professor of organizational behavior, has been appointed as the managing director of the Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) program. D’Innocenzo will work in collaboration with David Gefen, PhD, professor of Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems (MIS), who continues to serve as the academic director for the DBA program.
“David Becher’s and Lauren D’Innocenzo’s extensive experience in the executive education space, their outstanding academic contributions and deep commitment to the learning outcomes of our students will undoubtedly propel our Executive Education programs to greater heights, inspiring innovation, growth and impactful education for our students,” said Dean and R. John Chapel Jr. Dean’s Chair Vibhas Madan, PhD.
Becher brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his new role as the academic director for the EMBA and MBA at Vanguard programs, having taught several courses over the past decade. His dedication to academic excellence and commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment will enrich the EMBA and MBA at Vanguard experience for students and alumni.
“By blending innovative curriculum with strategic collaborations that unite industry and academia, we empower our students not only to navigate but to excel in the challenges of their professional journeys. I am thrilled to be part of the academic leadership team for both the EMBA and MBA at Vanguard programs and look forward to building on each of the program’s success,” said Becher.
D’Innocenzo’s extensive background in organizational behavior and management, and her successful history of teaching in the DBA program make her an ideal fit for the role of managing director.
“Lauren has been a key contributor to our DBA program from its inception, and now, as our DBA continues to expand and the interests of our student body increases, it is a pleasure to have Lauren take on this new position,” said Gefen.
Her leadership will further enhance the program’s reputation for producing high-caliber scholars and industry leaders.
“Our DBA program embodies Drexel in its bridge between academics and practice and offers a wonderful opportunity for our students and faculty to solve business problems through research. I’m excited to join the leadership team and contribute to the growing success of our program,” said D’Innocenzo.
These additions to the Executive Education leadership programs underscore LeBow’s ongoing commitment to provide innovative and impactful education opportunities for students at all levels. The College looks forward to the continued success and growth of both the EMBA and DBA programs under the guidance of these distinguished faculty members.
