Non-Matriculated Students

Drexel LeBow allows non-matriculated students — students enrolled in credit courses but not in a program which leads to a degree — to take up to nine (9) credits of graduate courses from LeBow MBA and specialized master’s programs. Non-matriculated students can complete coursework to meet continuing education requirements, transfer into another program, prepare for graduate level studies or meet other professional development needs. LeBow non-matriculated students also can apply credits from completed coursework to any LeBow graduate program.

Non-matriculated students are eligible to take most courses available at Drexel LeBow. However, there are limited restrictions on residency and capstone courses. Current course availability can be viewed in the Term Master Schedule; please note course availability is subject to change.

Application Requirements

Non-matriculated student applications may be submitted for any term. Students interested in taking graduate business courses as a non-matriculated student should submit the following items:

  • Online application
  • Professional résumé: This should include an overview of previous work history, including internship or co-op experience.
  • Unofficial transcripts: Unofficial transcripts are required for the degree-granting undergraduate institution, along with any related graduate-level coursework. Additional transcripts may be required for prerequisite assessments for upper-level coursework.

Students are not required to have a graduate degree to take graduate-level coursework.

Next Steps

After an application is accepted, non-matriculated students will work with an academic advisor to assess their professional and academic background to meet any pre-requisite requirements.
