New Faculty Join LeBow for the 2021-22 Academic Year
We are pleased to welcome the following new faculty members to the LeBow community. Joining the faculty as of Sept. 1, 2021 are:
Department of Accounting
Mary Howard
Assistant Clinical Professor
Mary has been an adjunct professor in LeBow’s Department of Accounting since 2019. Her professional experience is public accounting, audit and tax, as well in consulting, nonprofit management and real estate management and development. She also owned and operated a manufacturing and retail business. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration from Temple University.
Department of Decision Sciences & Management Information Systems
AJ Raven, PhD Associate Clinical Professor
AJ comes to LeBow from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, where he was associate professor of instruction in management information systems, after previous roles at Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business and Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. He also operates a consulting firm, AJ Raven Consulting, and has advised companies on strategic development of information system, as well as system integration and infrastructure. He received his PhD in Business Administration, specializing in Information Systems, from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
Department of Finance
Martin Thomas, PhD Associate Clinical Professor
Martin comes to LeBow after more than fifteen years working in industry as Senior Vice President, Head of Banking and Financial Services with RPM Direct, founding partner of Penn Data Mining and vice president, decision support with Advanta Corporation. He received his PhD in Finance from Pennsylvania State University and was previously assistant professor and visiting associate professor at LeBow.
Department of Marketing
Jillian Hmurovic, PhD Assistant Professor
Jillian received her PhD in marketing from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business and comes to LeBow from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she spent the 2020-21 academic year as a post-doctoral fellow with the Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center. Her research interests include decision making, time architecture, technology, inference-making and social impact.
Department of Sport Business
Sarah Napoli Assistant Clinical Professor
An alumna of Drexel’s MS in Sport Management program, Sarah previously taught as an adjunct at Holy Family University, Neumann University, Temple University and at LeBow and worked in suite sales and services for the Philadelphia Phillies. She also served as event co-chair for LeBow’s Department of Sport Business’ Women in Sport Conference during the 2020-21 academic year.
